Brass City Charter School

BRAVO Waterbury is the Waterbury Symphony's school based music program based on Venezuela's El Sistema program.  BRAVO focuses on the whole child nurturing them physically, mentally, and emotionally with quality instruction and mentorship. Bravo components include Bucket Band, Instrumental Exploratory, Choir, and a host of enrichment activities. Calida Jones is the Program DIrector. This week children who have been part of the first BRAVO site at Children's Community School for over a year performed for BCCS students.  The bucket band entertained us as did students who demonstrated their instruments in two afternoon performances.
