BCCS at 2014 Charter School conference July 23, 2014
BCCS teachers and staff upgraded their skills at the 2014 National Charter School Conference in Las Vegas
1st-grade teachers Carrie Scalzo and Sarah Naber, accompanied by Director of Operations Nancy Landona and Development Director Arri Sendzimir, travelled to Las Vegas, Nevada on June 29 for three days of intense learning from peers and presenters at the 2014 National Charter Schools Conference. More than 4,800 individuals attended, representing schools, families, faculty, charter advocates, and others. Next year’s conference will be held in New Orleans, where all public schools are now charter schools.
"I learned so much at this year's conference," said Nancy Landona. "Web-based learning resources, employee benefit options, tools to create positive learning environments, . . . It was all there. Can't wait to make it all part of BCCS!"
